| We had a room on the 17th floor with a great view of downtown Denver, the 16th Street Mall, and the mountains. The room was very nice and we were right across the hall from Jenny and Greg's room. |
| Jenny, Greg, Rachel, and Bryn had a room which had a better view of the 16th Street Mall, the May D&F Tower and the fireworks shows |
| After dinner at Maggiano's we went back to the room to await the first fireworks show at 9 p.m. We decided to order room service for dessert and got a couple of "volcano cakes" to share. The window ledge in Jenny & Greg's room provded a nice table with a view!! |
| Then the fireworks started! The show lasted at least 10 minutes each time: once at 9 p.m. and again at midnight. Bryn got too tired to watch the last show, but everyone else did. Happy New Year!!! |
